Top 10 Webtoons (Manhwa/Manhua)

'sup peeps! lots of stuff happened in life since the last time I posted here but let's not talk about it right now. If you didn't know already, I'm an avid webtoon reader. I simply can't go a day without reading a chapter from some manhwa/manhua tbh. Since I've read quite a lot of  Manhwas so, I thought I'd share some of my favorites. You're welcome to check them out because they definitely deserve more readers!

• Lookism. 
  
  Genre: drama, school life, shounen. status: ongoing.

Idk if it's because I read it almost every day and it's become a part of my daily life or because it's just purely amazing but regardless of that, I think I can proudly call it my most favorite webcomic. The artwork and the storyline both are amazing. The characters are so endearing it's incredible how attached you can grow to certain characters. (my sister also likes this webtoon and she's an extremely picky reader!) 

• That Summer.   
  
    Genre: pure love (as described by the author), school life, shounen ai. status: ongoing.

This manhwa means a lot to me like A LOT!!! it's one of the most heart touching manhwa to ever exist. The characters are so complex yet so lovable it's pure magic trust me. If I were to describe this comic with one word I'd say "home". It feels like home.  (i dont recommend reading it if you're anti-lgbtq+. lol, i don't recommend you even being on this blog if you're anti-lgbtq+. go somewhere else).

• Black Haze. 
  
   Genre: drama, seinen, fantasy.  status: ongoing.

OOH BOI. This manhwa...ooh! Let me keep it simple: It's great. It's very entertaining. very beautiful. 10/10 would recommend. 

• Cheese in the Trap. 
  
   Genre: drama, romance, josei. status: ongoing.

When I say this webtoon is about drama I mean real D R A M A. Don't let the cover fools you. It's 20% romance and 80% drama lol. It can get frustrating at times bc there's always drama in protagonist's life but after reading 10 chapters or so, you'll find yourself glued it this comic anyway. 

• Melvina's Therapy.   
  
  Genre: Horror. status: ongoing.

Artwork is magnificent. The plotline is genius. absolute genius. 

• Annarasumanara. 
  
   Genre: drama, romance. magical realism (?) status: completed.

It's one of the very first manhwas I've ever read. It's simply beautiful. The genre on the website says romance but don't listen to that. There's about 2% romance in this story lol. It's really comforting and beautiful and deep. 10/10 would recommend.  (sister loves it!)

• God of Bath. 
  
   Genre: comedy. status: completed.

This is written and drawn by the same author of Annarasumanara. It's extremely funny but if you squint, you'll find some deep meaning behind all those silly scenes. (approved by sister!)

• Fools. 
  
   Genre: shounen ai, drama. status: completed.

one word: beautiful. will make you cry tears of joy.

• Bastard. 
  
   Genre: Thriller, drama. status: completed.

The manhwa is the one that dragged me to this webcomic world. It's utterly breathtaking. The artwork isn't WOW type but the storyline is one of a kind. A classic. (approved by sister!)

• Dice. 
  
   Genre: Fantasy, drama, school life. status: ongoing.

Impressive artwork. Impressive Storyline. Interesting characters. What else do you need?

okay, this is it for today. I should seriously stop spending so much time thinking about manhwas or my bias or watching unhealthy amount of kitchen nightmares episodes and start doing homework lol. see ya!
